Integrative Oncology
What it means

Cancer treatment is demanding, and its effects reach far beyond the tumour. Integrative oncology focuses on the person receiving treatment: supporting their strength, nutrition, immune function, resilience and quality of life throughout the journey.

This is done alongside conventional oncology, not instead of it. Working with your oncology team, we aim to help you tolerate treatment better, manage side effects, maintain nutritional and physical strength, and support recovery.

CIMR's connection to this field runs deep. The scientific programme behind our herbaceutical Cypro, developed from Simarouba glauca, reflects our commitment to bringing evidence and rigour to supportive, plant-derived approaches in cancer care.
